Step-By-Step Instructions
Follow these steps to unlock Thailand’s doors with crypto:
1. Get your visa application approved
First, choose an Elite Visa package and submit your application to an accredited agent.
After the approval comes through, you’ll receive payment instructions. Don’t follow these if paying in crypto.
2. Request crypto payment
Email your agent to formally request payment in cryptocurrency.
As an applicant earlier this year, I sent a short but polite note to my visa agent asking for crypto payment details. Their representative got back to me swiftly with everything I needed.
3. Sign an agreement
Before transferring funds, a contract gets signed between you and the consultant managing your crypto payment.
This legally protects both parties and locks in exchange rates and fees.
4. Initiate crypto transfer
Next, you’ll send cryptocurrency to the address provided by the consultant.
Sometimes a test transaction is required first.
I routed my Ethereum payment through Coinbase for extra security. As soon as the coins left my wallet, I received a confirmation from my immigration agent.
5. Convert to Thai Baht
On the back end, your agent handles exchanging the crypto into fiat currency accepted by Thai authorities.
Once the baht conversion went through, I got a formal receipt from the agent’s bank. This was forwarded to Thailand Elite as payment proof.
6. Get your approved visa!
With the payment processing and verification completed, Thailand Elite issued my official visa documents.
I felt so thrilled when the email arrived with my stamped approval letter and member ID. My years of crypto trading had finally paid off!
